    Roy Stephenson is the Senior Project Manager responsible for Specialist Services – the division of the Museum of London Archaeology Service which undertakes archaeological conservation, finds and environmental study. He manages a team of around thirty specialists and is responsible for the coordination and delivery of a wide variety of specialist projects. Roy has worked as an archaeologist in London since 1986, initially working on English Heritage and developer-funded assessment and publication projects, involving the illustration, cataloguing and description of post-Roman ceramics as well as report writing. Additionally he has considerable excavation experience from a variety of different types of sites from all archaeological periods. Roy has particular expertise in dealing with ceramic assemblages from medieval and post-medieval kiln sites, and an ongoing research interest in the production sites of Delft pottery
